We were getting occasional stack overflow and watchdog timeouts
when clearing NVMEM. Bump up the stack size a bit in the HOOKS
task, and pet the watchdog before invoking the tpm2 init
functions.

Since PD task are highest priority, the 50msec delay between was intended
allow other tasks to execute if PD has continuous interrupt. With two
separate TCPC handled by host_command_pd task, interrupt from one TCPC will
block the interrupt handling of another TCPC by this 50msec and cause
error in the PD negotiation.
Reduced to 5msec to ensure TCPC interrupt is handled as soon as possible
while allow other tasks to execute if needed.

This change is a safegaurd to ensure that TPM register data is always
placed in the correct location in the HW read I2CS fifo. It is only
checked for 1 or 4 byte regsiter reads. Because of the way in which a
TPM command is sent and the response is read, there are multiple reads
of the STS register prior to reading the TPM fifo register. Therefore
ensuring the fifo has zero depth when 1 or 4 byte regsiter reads,
improves the robustness of the design.
Added a counter to track the number of times the fifo is adjusted and
a new console command 'i2cs disp|rst' to display the count and reset
it to 0 if desired.
Removed section in code for TPM fifo register reads intended to handle
the case where there was a mismatch between how many bytes were copied
into the fifo and the number read by the host. Since the burstcount
field in the status register always contains a valid amount of data
that can be read by the host, there should not be cases where the
host reads less data than was copied from the TPM fifo register. In
the unexpected cases where the host may not drain all of the I2CS read
fifo data during a TPM register read, the I2CS fifo depth will be
corrected the next time that it reads either the access or STS
register which happens prior to the start of any TPM transaction.

Previously, sleep was being reenabled only after tpm fifo reads as
that would typcially be near the end of a host driven TPM
command. However, in the case the host reads or writes to the STS
register, then sleep would not be re-enabled. Moved the re-enable
point to at the end of every i2cs interrupt. Since sleep is delayed by
1 second prior to being reenabled then Cr50 will not go to sleep in
the middle of TPM command since the host is either writing or reading
STS at a much faster rate when a TPM command is being executed.

Added a debug counter in idle.c and shortened sleep delays from 3
minutes to 5 seconds. Unplugged suzyq and verified that when
reconnected, the counter was incrementing to verify that Reef would

In __wait_evt(), if a timer expiration occurs after we read event
status, before the timer is canceled, then TASK_EVENT_TIMER will be
propagated to the next task wait, likely leading to premature timeout.
Prevent this by clearing TASK_EVENT_TIMER after canceling our timer.

When the board is using dynamic source PDOs, we need to ensure that we
are checking the incoming sink power request against the right set of
PDOs else we might reject a valid request (e.g. with high-power source,
we need to check against the 3.0A limit if we only have one port
connected).

The code clearly indends to sleep on the second time the loop
is taken, but the variable first_exchange is reset to 1 inside
the loop. If, for whatever reason, PD alert status cannot be
cleared, the code will then loop forever, and lead to a watchdog
reset.

The lengths were previously specified as end offsets and were
thus off by 1.
Fortunately it seems these chips were never used with an EC where we
actually utilize this table. Still, it would be nice if we actually
tested this on real hardware to check that there aren't any other
silly errors.

To be able to identify different cr50 devices connected to the same
machine we need a serial number. This change uses dev id 0 and 1 to come
up with one.

For some boards, the HCDEBUG setting is defaulting to off due to "too
spammy" console output. An unfortunate side effect of this is that when
a host command results in an error, it's impossible to know what was the
command that failed.
This commit adds the host command code to the error print so that it's
clear what command failed.

selectable.

Recent tpm2 repository changes introduced more strict checks of the NV
RAM operations' return status. The problem is that in case TPM is not
manufactured tpm_endorse() is invoked before nvram is declared
available, and this causes endorsement operation failure.
Make sure NVRAM initialization is complete before endorsement is
attempted.

virtual_battery_read() returns a cached value for some of the supported
smart battery parameters. If a value isn't supported, it calls out to
the actual battery. In the case of a battery that's not present, but a
supported battery parameter is queried, we would still return
_something_. This seems to confuse powerd and causes slow boot.
This commit changes the i2c passthru command to return a NAK when the
virtual battery is enabled but the battery is not present.

The application may need to read/write/erase the flash memory,
but we not want console users to do so. This CL adds
CONFIG_FLASH_PHYSICAL, which allows the higher-level CONFIG_FLASH
to be undefined while still providing the chip-specific
flash_physical_* accessor functions.
There aren't many board.h files that needed changes, since
CONFIG_FLASH_PHYSICAL is enabled by default, just like CONFIG_FLASH.

There is no point in invoking TPM reset while the current invocation
is in progress. One of the cases when this is happening is early start
up on Kevin/Gru: the device starts booting, the EC comes around to
pulsing sys_rst_l when TPM is already busy installing endorsement
certificates.
There is no point in issuing another reset at that point, just let the
process continue.

TPM resets happen asynchronously, conceivably there is some interface
(i2cs or sps) activity under way when TPM is reset.
Sps driver provides a means of disconnecting the client of the driver,
while the i2cs driver does not. Come to think of it, there is no real
need to provide a special function to disconnect a client, this makes
API simpler and allows to add driver initialization to the client
registration function.
To make tpm_registers.c more flexible - allow to register a callback
for interface initialization, this way when TPM is reset, the
interface can be also re-initialized and is guaranteed to start from
scratch after reset.

Similar to the TPM SPI interface, added code to disable sleep an I2CS
interrupt is received. Enabling sleep follwoing a 1 second delay when
the TPM fifo register has been read by the host. The I2CS TPM layer
doesn't know when a command has finished, but the one second delay is
more than enough delay since sleep will be disabled again when the
next I2CS interrupt is received.

Tested without these changes first. Shortened sleep delay to 30
seconds, and disconnected suzyq. Waited 30 seconds then issued the
command on the AP console:

In addition, using logic analyzer verifed that there was activity on
SDA/SCL but no response from Cr50. With this CL in place, ran the
test and got the following:

With the logic analyzer I was able to confirm that there was no
activity from the host on the I2CS bus until the command was issued.

The Cr50 console provides access to all sorts of dangerous
commands. To protect user secrets, we must erase the persistent
storage before unlocking the console.
Note that this will not powerwash the AP, leaving you with the
impression that you've just forgotten your password. You'll have
to manually powerwash (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R) afterwards. That will be
addressed in a future CL.

Lock the console if it's not already ("lock enable"), then unlock
it with "lock disable". Confirm that the NVMEM region is erased
following a successful unlock process.

To reset the TPM task, we send it an event so that it will reset
only when it's not busy doing actual TPM stuff that might fiddle
with the stack or shared memory. But that means that we can't
always know when the task finally gets around to resetting
itself.
This CL adds a tpm_reset() function that blocks until the reset
actually occurs. Obviously it can't do that if it's being called
in interrupt context or from the TPM task itself, but otherwise
it does.

In addition to the normal rebooting, logging in/out, and so
forth. I added a temporary console command to call tpm_reset()
and scattered a bunch of ccprintfs around it. When called due to
SYS_RST_L, it didn't block. When invoked with the console
command, it did.

Rather than doing a full cr50 reset when the system reset SYS_RST_L is
asserted, just reset the state of the TPM task and library. Re-clear
.bss for those modules, then re-initialize.

Trigger a SYS_RST_L by using the AP's reboot command, power
off/on, log in/out/in.
See that the Cr50 does not reboot and the firmware and userspace

Previously, there was no way to identify which flash chip was used by
the EC, for ECs using an external SPI flash. Now, 'ectool flashinfo'
will print more information about the SPI flash chip in these cases.

Cr50 monitors UART1 RX to sense the state of the AP. This signal can be
used to tell if it is in S0. If the signal is pulled up then the AP is
on. If it is not pulled up then the AP is not in S0. This change
notifies HOOK_CHIPSET_SUSPEND when UART1 RX is not pulled up, and then
notifies HOOK_CHIPSET_RESUME when the signal is high again.
The AP usb can be disabled during suspend, so this change changes the
hook that triggers disabling the AP usb to be attached to
HOOK_CHIPSET_SUSPEND instead of HOOK_CHIPSET_RESUME.

and BD99956. Hence renamed the code to BD9995X so that valid
output is printed from console commands.

If charge_manager has not decided on a current limit, don't set a
minimum current limit, since we may brown-out in the no / low-battery
case.

The interrupts to detect when the falling edge on the UART signals are
currently disabled and never reenabled. Power off is detected by polling
and not through interrupts. This change removes all of those falling
edge interrupts.

The g i2c slave controller does not support clock stretching, so it is
necessary to flow control the AP by some other means. Luckily there is
an interrupt line which g can toggle and the AP can watch.
This patch adds generating a pulse on the AP interrupt line once g
finished processing the i2c transaction. In case of the read
transaction the pulse is generated after the data to read is put in
the i2cs transmit buffer.

In case the AP is asking for a ODR frequency the sensor can not achieve
(for instance over 76Hz for BMP280), be sure we do not set oversampling
to 0.
Otherwise, no sensor data will be sent to the AP.
