The BIOS had the tablet mode device enabled in CL:439308, however the corresponding change to the EC never was done. Therefore, powerd was monitoring the tablet mode device which always reported tablet mode because it wasn't reading the real state. As such the keyboard and trackpad were never being unhibited by powerd. Ensure the EC config matches the BIOS changes so that the correct state is properly reported.
