afbfb5d1f2 Purge any existing firmware packages before requesting upgrade. 
Allows recovery if upgrades were previously scheduled but not executed.

abf1613709 - Use search syntax to find devices files 
- Use aim_strlcpy to make sure the model and serial number strings are NULL terminated (strncpy does not NULL terminate).

71589bee68 This functionality was previously provided by an AS7716-specific patch. 
The changes are now controlled by module parameters and those modules parameters can be
specified by the platform when necessary.

80afad6a76 - Initial LY9 Support 
Most of this code is originally from Jonathan Tsai's LY9 pull request:
  https://github.com/opencomputeproject/OpenNetworkLinux/pull/102

  The LY9 (and other quanta x86 platforms) have all been ported to the 3.16 LTS kernel
  with platform module support. The code from Jonathan's pull request has been manually
  merged into this porting effort where appropriate to provide a new baseline for the
  LY9 development.

  The other items originally in the pull request will be reviewed separately.
