Add the implementation of a robust non-volatile incrementing counter
using 2 pages from the underlying flash.
It is used to implement the U2F functionality.
The main goal of the counter is providing a strictly incrementing value
whatever adverse events (malicious or not) happen as it is used to
prevent rollback attacks in the U2F protocol.
Given the limitation of the flash process: ie wear-out endurance and
2kB-page erase granularity only and possible isolated bit-flips
(accentuated by power losses), the counting is done by pulling down
several bits at a time from their erased state (1) to 0.
The counting is implemented this way with 2 pages called LOW and HIGH:
The LOW page is implemented in a strike style, with each "strike" zero-ing
out 4 bits at a time, meaning each word can be struck a total of 8
times.
Once the LOW page is completely struck, the HIGH page is incremented by 2.
The even increment is for the value, the odd increment is a guard signal
that the LOW page must be erased. So as an example:
If HIGH is 2, the LOW page would increment to 3, erase itself, and then
increment to 4. If this process is interrupted for some reason (power loss
or user intervention) and the HIGH left at 3, on next resume, the HI page
will recognize something was left pending and erase again.
For a platform with 2-kB flash pages, it can count up to 8388608, then
it is stuck at 0xFFFFFFF indefinitely.

Split i2c.c code in two (i2c_slave.c and i2c_master.c). i2c_slave.c is
used when EC has no i2c device connected (i2c master code not needed)
but EC is connected to AP via i2c.

Implement actual rollback protection. First, we add a new field
in the version structure, which is an incrementing integer
(we'll start by shipping images with version 0, and gradually
increase the number as required). This allows us to release
new versions of the EC without necessarily bumping the rollback
protection.
For the rollback protection block itself, it contains 2 sub-blocks
of equal size (normally, 2k), that are individually erasable.
The rollback code looks at both, and takes the most restrictive one
to determine the desired rollback minimum version. The blocks
are also allowed to be erased (full of 1's), in which case the
rollback minimum version is assumed to be 0.
We also add an FMAP entry, in case we later decide to allow the
signer to increment the rollback version.
Also note that, like any version_data struct change, this change
breaks compatibility between old and new RO/RW.
Follow-up code will take care of auto-updating the rollback block
as required, and properly manage block protection.

Using -O3 optimization level rather than -Os results in a large speed-up
for a minor code size increase for the RSA code with our current GCC
toolchain.
Add the CONFIG_RSA_OPTIMIZED option to do it on platforms which are not
too size-constrained.
On cortex-M4 based STM32L432, I'm measuring a 37 to 40% speed increase
(depending on CPU frequency) for a 200 bytes code size delta.

Keep only the most compact version of the curve25519 code
and remove the remaining unused code for easier compilation.
Do the minimal changes to make it compile in the EC code base,
there should be no real functional changes.
Re-use the wording from BoringSSL include/openssl/curve25519.h for the
header.

The new code allows to replace the existing one buffer at a time
shared memory facility with a malloc/free implementation. A new
configuration option is being provided (CONFIG_MALLOC).
The names of functions allocating and freeing memory are not being
changed to allow to switch between the two implementations seamlessly.
A double linked list of buffers is used to keep track of free and
allocated memory. During initialization the entire free memory block
is considered a single free buffer. No allocations/frees are allowed
from within interrupts. The control structures are protected by a
semaphore, so allocate and free invocation could be blocking.
A test is added which randomly allocates and frees memory, continuing
until all branches in the allocate and free functions are taken.

The CONFIG_FLASH_NVMEM option implements persistent, reliable storage
regions in flash. This adds CONFIG_FLASH_NVMEM_VARS, which uses one of
those storage regions for free-form variables.
Refer to the comments in include/nvmem_vars.h and common/nvmem_vars.c
for usage and implementation details.

In some cases, the virtual battery code creates
transactions that violate SB spec.
One example:
If the host command is structured as two messages -
a write to 0x03 (reg addr), followed by two bytes of write data,
the first byte of the second message (write data) will be sent to
virtual_battery_read(), as if it were a reg read request.
Let's do the following change for virtual battery:
1. Parse the command more carefully with state machines.
2. Support write caching for some critical registers.
3. Cache more attributes (0x03 and 0x0f).

Currently, the matrix keyboard protocol does not have support for
handling non-matrixed keys. This commit adds support for buttons which
do not appear in the keyboard matrix as well as switches.
Additionally, the keyboard FIFO is now just a general MKBP events FIFO
which MKBP events are free to use. Now, buttons and switches wil join
the key matrix event.

cts.tasklist contains tasks run only for CTS. These tasks are added to the
tasks registered in ec.tasklist with higher priority. This design allows
board directories to be free from CTS stuff.
cts.tasklist can be placed in each suite directory (cts/suite/cts.tasklist).
If a suite does not define its own cts.tasklist, the common list is used
(i.e. cts/cts.tasklist).

There are a couple of issues that cr50 has when it cannot know the state
of servo, the EC, and the AP. This change adds support so we can detect
when the AP or EC has been powered on and when servo has been connected.
It uses the UART RX signals to monitor the power state of the AP and EC.
The TX signals are used to monitor the state of servo.

Adds a JEDEC SFDP v1.* compatible Serial NOR Flash driver to control
multiple Serial NOR Flash devices (NOR EEPROMs, etc.). The SFDP tables
are used to discover parts' page sizes and capacities.
This driver only supports parts with capacities under 4GiB. If the
parts are larger than 16MiB, then the 0xB7 4-Byte addressing mode
entry opcode and 0xE9 4-Byte addressing mode exit opcode are required.
This driver also assumes that a 4KiB erase opcode of 0x20 is always
available.

This adds a temporary secure storage interface for the EC to be able
to store small amounts of data from the host that is locked until the
chipset resets. This is used by pre-memory verified boot on x86 systems
where we need to know which RW slot to boot and what the hash is to
ensure that we can resume from S3 safely.

Rather than having various PWM module groups initialized from various
HOOK_INIT functions, group them all into a single module and initialize
them all from a common function in pwm.c.

This change includes hardware and software support for SHA1/256 on
CR50. When running in the RO image, only hardware sha256 support is
included. When running in the RW image, the code auto-selects between
the software and hardware implementation. Software implementation path
is taken if the hardware is currently in use by some other context.
Refactor the CR50 loader to use this abstraction.
The existing software implementation for SHA1 and SHA256 is used for
the software path.

This code allows to send extension commands over TPM protocol, no
callbacks have been registered yet.
The same buffer is used as input and output data. The header is
stripped off before the callback is called and then re-added after
processing.
This could be used for testing, for proprietary firmware update
protocol, etc.

Some chips previously defined CONFIG_I2C and others didn't. Standardize
the usage by removing CONFIG_I2C from all config_chip files and force it
to be defined at the board level. Also, make boards define
CONFIG_I2C_MASTER and/or CONFIG_I2C_SLAVE based on the I2C interfaces
they will use - this will assist with some later cleanup.

This commit adds a new basic driver for the Kionix KX022 Accelerometer.
Currently, the driver is capable of reading the sensor data and
manipulating its ODR, resolution, and range.
This sensor also has integrated support for Directional
Tap/Double-Tap(TM), however that functionality is not yet implemented in
the driver.
Lastly, since this accelerometer is very similar to the previous KXCJ9,
this commit tries to combine the drivers.
Note, the variant of the Kionix accelerometer MUST be specified in the
private data structure.

hardware, by the sensor itself.

Enabled lid angle calculation. Clamshell/Tablet mode is decided by lid angle.
Accelerometers are set to be active in S3 also.
Trackpad is enabled/disabled by GPIO TP_INT_DISABLE.
Keyboard scan and trackpad are enabled in clamshell mode and disabled in
tablet mode.
Removed enable_keyboard() since keyboard is enabled in clamshell S0 and
S3.

This patch adds a module which runs on top of the SPS driver and
implements the TCG SPI TPM protocol.
Basic register read and write functions are implemented as well as
rudimentary TPM state machine (claiming/releasing locality).
An enhancement is made to the SPS driver to ensure that when the CS is
deasserted the transmit FIFO is reset too, on the off chance of the CS
going away mid transaction for whatever reason.
In this implementation the slave is guaranteed to stall the master for
a few bytes in both receive and transmit transactions, which is
further aggravated by the fact that RX FIFO threshold is set to 8
(this is the minimum number of bytes the master has to send to wake up
the slave). This could be fine tuned later, for instance made a
parameter of the receive callback registration function.

This commit adds the 8042 scancodes to the shared objects library saving
504 bytes from the RW image. To enable the space savings, define
CONFIG_SHAREDLIB in the target's board.h file.
