This implements a new API for EC modules to define MKBP event sources
and send MKBP event to the AP. Also, a new host command
EC_CMD_GET_NEXT_EVENT is added for the AP to query the pending MKBP
events. Each event type may have custom event data sent along with the
event.

Simple control of SPI for flashing over USB.
This driver is working, and using the discovery board
with a W25Q16 flash chip attached flashrom can read,
erase, write, and verify the whole chip in 45 seconds.

Add macro for default hibernate delay, and set to 7 days on samus.
Also, adds CONFIG_ option for hibernating early if low on battery.
For samus, setting early hibernate at 1 day when battery < 10%.

on samus
1) If CONFIG_HIBERNATE_DELAY_SEC is left at default 3600 (samus
board.h does not overwrite it), then target time is 3600s.
2) If CONFIG_HIBERNATE_DELAY_SEC is defined in samus/board.h, then
target time equals that value.
3) If CONFIG_HIBERNATE_DELAY_SEC is defined as 1 week and
CONFIG_HIBERNATE_BATT_PCT is defined to 10% and
CONFIG_HIBERNATE_BATT_SEC is 1 day, then when battery is between 8-10%
target time is 1 day and if battery is at 11%, target time is 1 week.

The BOS (Binary Device Object Store) descriptor was added to the USB
specification (3.0) to allow a richer set of device capability
specific descriptors.
The Billboard class is meant to expose (read-only) the status of USB
devices capable of alternate mode functions. It's required to use the
BOS descriptor type and at a high level looks like:
- BOS Device Descriptor (5bytes)
- Container ID Device Capability Descriptor (20bytes)
- Billboard Device Capability Descriptor (44byte + 4 * numSVIDs)
This CL adds:
1. Ability for Get Descriptor on BOS descriptors. Note hidden behind
CONFIG_USB_BOS as these descriptors change USB device requirements
to:
- bcdUSB >= 0201
- no interface descriptors
2. structures for all BOS, Container & Billboard descriptor elements
complete w/ CamelCase.

Changed sending of info VDM from the UFP side in SNK_DISCONNECTED
to the DFP side in SRC_READY to match the PD spec. Only the DFP
is supposed to send VDMs, and by default the power source is the
DFP. This affects simple DFPs such as power adapters, they must
initiate the info VDM once a power contract has been negotiated.

The Zinger RW is now signed with 2048-bit RSA key (using SHA-256 as
digest).
This CL implements the verification mechanism.
note: the RSA key used for signing must be provided as a .pem file.
The path to .pem file must be provided in the PEM environment variable.
By default, it's using the dev key stored in zinger_dev_key.pem.

Minimuffin is identical to zinger, same MCU, same gpio, same
circuitry aroundt the MCU with two differences:
- Rated current is 2.25A instead of 3A
- USB PD hardware device ID needs to be different so that host
can differentiate between the two.
Due to the similarity between the two, minimuffin is defined
as a symlink to the zinger board.

Enabled deep sleeping during S0. This was previously inhibited by
SLEEP_MASK_AP_RUN but the new config option (CONFIG_LOW_POWER_S0) will ignore it.
SPI needed a sleep mask, it essentially gets enabled and disabled whenever the
CS changes. Warning: waking up when the CS falls takes a little time, if the AP
sends fast data before the 48MHz clock is enabled characters will get corrupted;
leave about 30uS time for the clock to start.

Currently, when an assertion fails, the error message is like:

To save flash space, let's add an option to remove the failed
expression and function name. The error message becomes:

'powerindebug' is only used when there is a problem with power
sequencing. 'taskready' is rarely used and the same info can be
retrieved by 'taskinfo'.
Put both behind config flags and disable 'taskready' by default. Also
disable 'powerindebug' for Ryu.

This driver can be used to access multiple usarts using an abstract
stream interface. The stream interface can also be used in drivers
for the host interface and USB console interface, providing a
consistent API across all character stream style IO.

This command was intended to be used for testing, but we have moved on
to the compiled unit tests. Let's put this command behind a config flag
to save precious flash space. This frees up about 640 bytes.
To make sure no one is using this, I searched for "hostcmd" in
platform/ec/test and third_party/autotest/files/server/site_tests.

Hibernate is not supported on STM32F0. Disable system hibernate so that
the system doesn't auto-reboot after an hour in G3. This also benefits
us in terms of firmware size.

Every time a type-C source is plugged in, send a special VDM to
read device info. Device info will contain RW Hash (sha1), a
unique hardware descriptor (USB_PD_HARDWARE_DEVICE_ID), a
software version number just for debugging (USB_PD_DBG_SW_VERSION),
and a flag for if the device is in RW. This feature is off by
default and can be turned on by defining
CONFIG_USB_PD_READ_INFO_ON_CONNECT, currently defined for samus
and ryu only.
Renamed the read RW_HASH VDM to READ_INFO since it now returns
more than just the hash.
When device info is received, we store the RW hash. In the future
we will use this to check if device needs an update.

This adds an optional lb_power() function that the lightbar TAP sequence can
use to briefly power up the lightbar rails while the AP is shut down.

Shut the AP down, then from the EC console run "lightbar seq tap". The
lightbar should light up and briefly indicate the current power levels. You
can manully force the battery status with "lightbar demo on", then use the
arrow keys to change the state.
Note that the Samus that I tested on had trouble recognizing when it was
charging or not. That's a separate bug.

During flash erase operation, read is stalled and thus interrupt might
be serviced later. This can cause PD communication to fail and thus the
board reboots if there is no battery. Print a warning message in this
case.

Add PD communication enable flag. When disabled, the ports
will still detect source/sink connect and disconnect, and
will provide VBUS to a device, but will not send or respond
to any PD communication.
Use the CONFIG_USB_PD_COMM_ENABLED macro to define the
default state of PD communication enabled flag which may
vary board to board.

Remove code for preventing PD negotiation until the battery
is at some minimum SOC. This was originally necessary because
transitioning voltages would cause the source voltage to go
briefly to 0V, which would kill power to the system unless
the battery was at some minimum level of charge. But, that
isn't true anymore. It is safe to transition up or down in
voltage and the source voltage should never drop to 0V.

We have three copies of 'typec' commands in three different boards. The
commands current mix hardware-specific logic and console command logic
together. Adding a board_get_usb_mux() interface to separate the logic
and deduplicate the console command logic.

Some PMIC chip (e.g. TPS65913) doesn't support the 8-second long key
press power-off. For this, we have to check the state of the power
button in firmware, and do not assert PMIC_PWRON during the shutdown
sequence to prevent the AP from restarting.

The Samus battery can be placed into a disconnect state by asserting a
disconnect input signal. In this state, the battery will not function
until a charging current is applied. This patch adds detection of the
disconnect state. If a battery in disconnect state is found, a current
is force-applied to the battery to kick it out of disconnect.

2. Pull AC, then reattach AC
3. Verify "found battery in disconnect state" is seen on the
